Why Do Earthquakes Happen?
Every thirty seconds, some part of the earth starts shaking and trembling. Most of the movements on the surface of the earth are so light that they cannot be felt. However, some earthquakes and tremors cause extreme destruction. The ground cracks, buildings are destroyed, and entire towns and cities collapse. This movement of the earth is called an earthquake. The earth’s crust is made up of moving layers. When the energy inside the earth makes its way out of them, many waves are formed. The surface of the earth and the mountains on it begin to shake and tremors are felt. In areas where there is more movement in the earth’s crust, digging mines and tunnels increases the risk of earthquakes. Earthquakes occur from time to time in almost every part of the earth. We don’t usually feel the slightest tremors or earthquakes, but scientists can record earthquakes in any part of the world. This is done with the help of a scientific instrument called a seismometer. Ground vibration The knowledge of its origin and growth is called seismology. The seismologist receives signals of friction between ground rocks and the movement of their layers. The intense and terrifying motion of the rocks inside the earth produces energy that causes its layers to vibrate or vibrate thousands of miles underground. We can also feel the tremors on the surface of the earth.

When do volcanoes dream?
Dormant literally means dreamer or asleep. In contrast, a dead volcano never moves again. Like earthquakes, volcanoes exist where there are cracks or crevices in the earth’s crust. The pressure in these layers creates a vacuum in one layer of the earth, and the exposed rocks begin to emit gases and ashes. When this pressure is reduced, volcanoes remain dormant for many years.
